Change Management

While the basic elements of an Information Management program are the same from one organization to the next, it is how those elements are introduced and configured that may differ.  It is critical that IM Governance is aligned with the organization's Center for Excellence strategy so that the organization's goals are flowing seamlessly through all functional groups.  IM Governance needs to reflect the same level of autonomy allowed in all areas of the organization.

IM Visibility takes an agile approach to change management using tools that fit the organization's culture and creating an IM program that meets the form, fit and function of the organization.

Our Approach

Let's Get Started!

Many organizations know that their information is in chaos, but don't know where to begin to solve the problem.  If you need to establish the starting point, we will begin with creating an Enterprise Information Map and conducting a Governance Assessment.

Enterprise

Information and Data Map

Do you know where to find that report you created last month?  Where should you look for data from last year's change management project?  What system has the equipment listing? You need a map depicting where your information is located. Let's get started by mapping where your information is and how it flows through your organization. We will create a comprehensive compilation of where documents in your organization are stored along with how the associated digital systems interact.  We will review where every department saves information of all types, establish a map of the document locations, and map how information flows.  After a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis, we will create a plan to address gaps and reduce risk.

An IM Governance Assessment is an assessment of your current Document Management, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Data Management and Governance elements of your IM program. The evaluation, followed by a SWOT assessment and creation of a Roadmap, will provide guidance to establishing a solid IM program for your organization.
